WELCOME TO THE
SECRET GARDEN
As we draw to the end of our 2024 camping season, Lesley, Neil and the Secret Garden Team would like to thank you again for another wonderful year at the Secret Garden. 2024 had its challenges – the wettest winter we have had with double the annual rainfall between Oct 2023 and Feb 2024 was not a great start for our March opening.
An early Easter further impacted the issues, so much so we could only open half the site for fear of irreparably damaging the pitches for the remainder of the year.
Despite this we worked though it and have welcomed so many of our seasoned regulars back. Its great for us to see so many young families enjoying the Secret Garden where children can play as children should, amidst the Secret Garden wilderness, and when we are out and about the site in the evening it is a delight to see the glow of the camp fire pits with the whole family around telling their stories of the day!
We will now press on with our winter maintenance programme and hope for a dryer winter, but look forward to meeting up with you again in 2025. In the meantime our Potting Shed Pub remains open every day with
Maggie, Aimi & Lucy serving breakfast and lunch every Tuesday to Saturday from 9am - 2pm and
Breakfast on Sunday from 9am - 12pm.
Our entertainment programme runs to the end of the year finishing with the pantomime

And yes because I know you will ask, there are a few more projects on the horizon for 2025,
but for now they are a secret 😊!
Cheers,
Lesley, Neil and The Secret Garden Team.

ENTERTAINMENT AT THE SECRET GARDEN
Wisbech, the Capital of the Fens, is the perfect place for a day out or a break to get away from it all. Wisbech is renowned for its elegant Georgian architecture, a legacy from an era when the town was a booming trade centre. Stroll along the Brinks or round the Crescent to see some fine Georgian houses.
The Secret Beer Garden is our undercover heated events area hosting entertainment, bar and street food nights. To see the calendar click here
